Did you know?

Mariona is the global ambassador of TOPIC, she distributes smiles wherever she goes and transmits the love for the art of puppetry that we have in our house. It was designed by a 9-year-old boy and selected after the vote of 3,500 Gipuzkoan boys and girls. The name is related to puppets and also pays tribute to the character of Mariona Masgrau, a renowned Catalan puppeteer who unfortunately passed away two years before the opening of our museum in 2009. Her son, Octavi Rumbau, has given our collection the puppetry heritage that his mother left him, of great value and that we proudly keep. In this way, her legacy will always remain alive, here at TOPIC, for everyone.
